Your data stays on your Mac.
Blaze is a native macOS app that talks directly to your Firebase projects from your Mac. We never see the contents of your Firestore collections, your Auth users, or your Storage files.

1. Who is responsible
Blaze is published by Riad Mahi, freelance developer based in France. For any privacy-related question, contact contact@riadmahi.com.
2. What Blaze collects
To operate, Blaze collects a minimal amount of data about you:
- Email — used to authenticate you via Firebase Authentication.
- Profile — first name, last name, role (developer, founder, etc.) and the source through which you discovered Blaze. You enter these during onboarding; they're stored on Cloud Firestore.
- Subscription state — your plan (Free, Pro, Lifetime), managed by RevenueCat. A copy is mirrored into your Firestore profile for cross-device verification.
- Technical identifiers — an Apple-specific anonymous user id provided by RevenueCat and a Firebase Authentication uid. Neither lets us link your purchases to your real-world identity outside Blaze.
3. What Blaze does not collect
Blaze accesses your Firebase projects exclusively from your Mac using the firebase-tools credentials Firebase CLI stores locally. The contents of your projects never transit through a Blaze server:
- Your Firestore collections and documents
- Your Firebase Authentication users
- Your Cloud Storage files
- Your Cloud Functions, security rules, and indexes
- Workflows and snapshots created in Blaze (stored locally under
~/Library/Application Support/Blaze/)
When you use the Claude (MCP) integration, your prompts are sent to Anthropic through your Claude Code / Claude Desktop client and are subject to their own privacy policy. Blaze does not intercept or store those conversations.
4. Sub-processors
Blaze relies on a small number of providers for authentication, billing, and infrastructure:
- Google (Firebase) — Authentication, Firestore, Analytics. GDPR-compliant via Standard Contractual Clauses.
- RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and in-app purchases via the Apple App Store. Receives your Firebase uid so receipts can follow your account across devices.
- Apple — distributes the app via the Mac App Store and processes payments for in-app purchases, subject to Apple's privacy policy.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you reside in the EEA or the UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate information
- Erasure (right to be forgotten) — deleting your Blaze account removes your Firestore profile and the associated RevenueCat identifiers
- Portability of your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to or restrict processing
To exercise a right, email contact@riadmahi.com from the address associated with your Blaze account. We respond within 30 days.
6. Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your Blaze account is active. Upon account deletion, your profile and subscription state are removed within 30 days. Receipts retained by Apple and RevenueCat follow their own legal retention periods.
7. Cookies and trackers
The riadmahi.com website (including this page) does not set any tracking cookies. The Blaze app itself uses no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs other than Google's Firebase Analytics, which may collect anonymized usage events.
8. Children
Blaze is a developer tool not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
9. Changes
This policy may evolve. Material changes will be announced in the app and take effect 30 days after publication. The current version is always available at this URL with its last-updated date.
